Dr. Genna
Dr. Gianina Aronovici was born in Romania in a family of physicians. After graduating top of her class in 1995 from University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine she moved to Israel where she worked in the Veterinary Research Department of the prestigious Weizmann Institute of Science.
In 1998 Dr. Genna moved to the US to be reunited with her family. In 2003 she graduated the ECFVG Program of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Genna spent her entire career in small animal practice gaining a lot of experience especially by working as a relief veterinarian in NY and NJ. Her special interests are Soft Tissue Surgery and Internal Medicine, especially gastroenterology, endocrinology, and geriatrics.
Later, she developed a passion for shelter medicine.
Dr. Genna truly values the relationship that she builds with all pets, making sure she prepares them for adoption in the best health.
Dr. Genna is owned by a Parsons Jack Russell terrier named Jack who goes with her just about everywhere. In her free time, she enjoys reading, computer games, and Zumba classes.
